Coming out of cage for a little visiting.

July 2 2010: Sadly today, Timi, the Ringneck Parakeet died, she was 22 years old and owned Carol and Jon. She had a great life with her people and I enjoyed having her for a boarder for many years. She will be missed, she had her own personality and was a fun bird to have around. Fly high little Timmi!

One of my regular boarder of many years.

Please meet Howard! Latest Camper at Stray Haven from Virginia! His Mommy is going on a cruise with her daughter's family. He will be staying until 12/23/07. He's a great bird, likes to tear up newspapers, lining his tray, funny boy, gave him a separate piece of paper to tear up and a new toy to keep him busy. Likes his head scritched and does a great step up to come out of his cage for a little quality time!
Update for Howard! He came back for his second visit 9/4/08. His family is going on a vacation to California! He's all settled in, I think he remembers he was here before, Grays are so smart! What a great family he has, they all came to bring him along with a couple of Grandkids too, who liked looking at all my family birds here.
